PANTRY

   LOAF

When you want something home baked but you don’t know what and you don’t want to go to the supermarket so you combine all the scraps at the back of the pantry and make a loaf and hope for the best.

You can manipulate this to fit what you’ve got.

In a separate bowl whisk eggs, syrup, mandarin zest and juice, milk and vanilla.

Combine the two and stir till mixed through. Pour into lined tin.

In a small bowl mix the chopped walnuts, chocolate and sugar. Sprinkle on top of loaf and press down to ensure it sticks.

Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
