Seeing as we have all the time in the world to get back to basics, here is my simple instructions for making sourdough. First we need to start with our starter and the best way is 50% flour to 50% water.
I use a strong bakers flour but as finding anything in the supermarket right now is basically impossible you can use simple Edmonds flour to achieve the results you need.
Start with a clean bowl.
Add 50g Flour and 50g Tepid Water
Cover with glad wrap.
5 hours later. Add 25g Flour and 25g Tepid Water.
Repeat this process every day for 5 days.
