These bad boys are so delicious! A recent addition to the Moore Wilson's shelves and may I say what an addition. Made fresh from Wellington's own Tandoori Heritage.

The humble samosa is believed to have originated in Central Asia prior to the 10th Century, when it was known as 'Samsa'. It was introduced into the Indian subcontinent between the 13th and 14th Century via regional traders.

Samosas can be filled with a range of ingredients from vegetables, meats, pulses, herbs, spices, nuts and seeds.

These would work wonderfully as a light lunch or yummy snack. Eat either hot or cold - would be perfect for a picnic should the weather comply!

I served mine with Colman's Mint Sauce. Chutney could work perfectly also. Delicious! Enjoy.
