1 c white sugar
¾ c honey
3 tsp orange blossom
For the doughnuts combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Whisk in the milk until a runny batter forms. Whisk out all lumps.
Cover and chill for 1 hour.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 190 degrees.
In a microwave safe bowl combine syrup ingredients.
Heat on high for 1 minute. Stir.
Carefully spoon a tsp worth of batter into hot oil. Cook for 3 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove with a slotted spoon on a cooling rack.
Allow to cool before coating in white sugar.
Arrange on a plate with syrup.
