When it comes to feasts, I LOVE a table laden with dishes, snacks, condiments and treats. Just when you think you have eaten too much you find yourself reaching for something little to eat. Love it.
For my Middle Eastern feast I had bowls of dried fruit, hazelnuts, pistachios, greek yoghurt and fresh dates.
As an added extra (not Middle Eastern), I roasted and served new potatoes in olive oil, salt and pepper till golden and crispy. You can't win over everyone and roast potatoes are generally a safe bet as a crowd pleaser.
