this crispy chewy soggy bread dish. Soaking depends on the bread. If its fresh it doesn't need as long.

crispy bacon, fresh banana and lashings of maple syrup or B.
ricotta and berry compote C. lemon curd
and softly whipped cream.
1 day old baguette
60 ml milk
1 tbsp caster sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp cinnamon
Butter for frying
Slice the bread anyway you like. Long angular pieces are good.
In a wide bowl whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon.
Toss bread through egg mixture and allow to soak for 10 minutes.
Heat butter in a fry pan over a medium to high heat.
Add slices of eggy bread and fry on each side until golden brown.
Clean pan after each batch.
